The importance of checking radiation protection equipment
Personal radiation protection equipment is essential for the safety of users exposed to ionizing radiation. In order to maintain optimal protection, they must be checked periodically (every 3 years) in accordance with CNCAN and Ministry of Health regulations. Through these checks, we prevent material degradation and ensure the effectiveness of the equipment in blocking radiation.
What equipment are we checking?

Our verification process
Checks are carried out as required CNCAN Order No 186/2022 and Ministry of Health Order No 2219/14.07.2022. In the testing process, we assess:
- Integrity of the protective material - identification of cracks or degradation of lead and other radioprotective materials
- Radiation blocking efficiency - specific measurements to confirm the level of dose attenuation
- Compliance with current rules - standardized verification for compliance with CNCAN and manufacturers' requirements
