ICCO EMS a realizat upgrade-ul sistemului Leksell Gamma Knife Icon la modelul Esprit, modernizând capacitățile de tratament ale Spitalului Bagdasar-Arseni.
În 2023, Spitalul Clinic de Urgență Bagdasar-Arseni din București a beneficiat de un proiect amplu de modernizare a echipamentului Leksell Gamma Knife Icon, utilizat în tratamente radiochirurgicale non-invazive.
The project included replacing radioactive sources of cobalt 60 and Technology upgrade to Esprit.
This modernization ensures a higher standard of precision and safety, strengthening the position of the Center of Excellence in Neurosurgery as leader in stereotactic neurosurgery in Romania.
1. Project objective
Proiectul a constat în furnizarea de servicii de întreținere preventivă și operativă, cu piese de schimb incluse, pentru echipamentul Leksell Gamma Knife Icon, realizând totodată upgrade-ul la modelul Esprit pentru îmbunătățirea performanței și eficienței tratamentelor.
2. Challenges and solutions implemented
The project involved a major challenge: replacing radioactive sources of cobalt-60a complex process that requires specialists in radiological safety and handling radioactive materials.
Transportation was carried out under special convoy with gendarmerie escortunder strict safety conditions. The implementation was based on: rigorous planning, coordination between teams and advanced technical expertise, ensuring a safe process without affecting medical work.
